You know it’s autumn when the fashion show circuit gets back in full swing, and there are three shows to tell you about in October. Put them all on your list, and if you know of others, email me at khall@windsorstar.com

* Oct. 4: Pass It On Windsor, a fashion show supporting donor awareness. Doors open at 6 p.m. and show starts at 7 p.m. at The Bank Nightklub, 285 Ouellette Ave. Proceeds go to A Day in the Life. Tickets are $30 in advance; $35 at the door. Call 519-980-6242 or email passitonwindsor@hotmail.com

* Oct. 8: Annual Art Gallery of Windsor volunteers event at Essex Golf and Country Club, with bridge, a fashion show and a boutique featuring the works of local artists and artisans. This year’s event is called Afternoon Delights and runs from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 and can be ordered by calling 519-977-0013, ex. 117. To reserve seats, call Ann Spicer at 519-252-8120. Payment is due by Oct. 3.

* Oct. 10: Naomi and Devorah Shapiro make a special appearance at Anne’s on the Avenue. The Toronto-based creators of Rock ‘N Karma bring their Designers Closet to the boutique at 335 Manning Rd., from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. The sisters are creating all kinds of buzz with their unique separates because they’re made of a “miracle fabric” that’s wash and wear, doesn’t fade and won’t pill, snag or stretch out of shape. Makes you look thinner, too.
